Waiver, Indemnity, Photo Release and Hold Harmless Agreement

Newcomers Club of Reno-Sparks

Waiver:  It is expressly agreed that participation in Newcomers Club activities, including any transportation provided by a Club member, shall be undertaken at the undersigned’s sole risk, and the Club shall not be liable for any injuries or any damage to the member, or the property of the undersigned, or be subject to any claim, demand, injury or damages whatsoever, including without limitation, those damages resulting from acts of active or passive negligence on the part of the Club, its officers or agents.

The undersigned releases and discharges for himself/herself and on behalf of his/her executors, administrators, heirs, assigns and successors from all such claims, demands, injuries, damages, actions or causes of action. The Club shall not be responsible or liable for articles damaged, lost or stolen at any Club function, or for loss or damages to property including but not limited to automobiles and the contents thereof.

Indemnify and Hold Harmless: The undersigned agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Newcomers Club of Reno-Sparks for any occurrence caused, in whole or in part, by the undersigned and/or his/her guest at an event or activity sponsored by the Newcomers Club.

An Incident/Accident Report must be filled out and submitted to the Newcomers Board within 30 days of occurrence of incident/accident.

Photo Release Form:  NNCNN has my permission to use my photograph publicly for promotional purposes.  I understand that the images may be used in print, website, and social media.  I also understand that no royalty fee or other compensation shall become payable to me by reason of such use.

Severable Provisions:  In the event that any part of this agreement is held to be void or unenforceable, that portion is severed, and the remainder of this agreement shall remain in force and effect.

 

Current Newcomer Members:  You agreed to this Waiver, Indemnity and Hold Harmless Agreement when you completed your member application and this agreement remains on file and in full force and effect as long as you are a member.
