First thank you for your interest in joining Newcomers and Neighbors Club of Northern Nevada!

Newcomers and Neighbors Club of Northern Nevada has a long history as a successful community outreach organization, reaching back to 1948 when the club began as a Welcome Wagon Service. Realizing in 1989 that individuals in many other situations could benefit from our services, the club broadened its charter to include anyone residing in Northern Nevada.  Today, we support over 1400 members with more than 50 different activities that are fun and opportunities to meet new people and learn about your local community.

Once you join, you may extend your membership as long as you wish, which means our collective community has a broad experience base from which new members may benefit.  Our activity groups are all member initiated and led— and you may join as many or as few of the activities as you wish. There is something for everyone— from arts, crafts, quilting, games, theater, fine dining, and more to very physically active groups such as hiking, walking, skiing, golfing, bowling, and gardening.  Please check out our current list of activities.  If you don't see what interests you, you can work with our Activities Director to create a new group.  We have one or more activities almost every day of the month as you can see in this recent calendar!

In addition to the Activity Groups, the club holds a monthly Luncheon & General Meeting.  This is an opportunity to meet a wide swath of our membership and have some fun!  Our luncheon always features an  outstanding speaker or local talent for our entertainment.  And don't miss our raffle baskets!

Membership entitles each household to our Newsletter (printed or emailed), Club News Updates, monthly online Luncheon Reservations information, access to all of our activities and our luncheons and a copy of our online Membership Directory.
